4x Python Developer with Flask experience - Outside IR35 Contract - 3 to 6 Months - £400-500 - Fully Remote/London

This contract is perfect for a python developer who has used flask commercially and is paying £450-£550 per day. This contract is outside of IR35 and is offered as fully remote, with the client being based in London.

This client is a multinational professional services company specializing in program management, project management, cost management and consulting across the sectors of property, infrastructure and natural resources. The digital team within this business is responsible for delivering new digital products and digitally enabled ways of working to keep this client at the forefront of innovation in construction cost management and programme management.

This team operates a lot like a start-up within the larger company and this ensure that team is able to rapidly develop innovative products using the latest technology and methods, whilst benefiting the larger business. In the past 3 years, the digital team has grown substantially and has developed a suite of unique tools, making a significant impact both within the business and with the clients of this business.

With the help of these high quality tools, this team has demonstrated how an agile, lean product approach to product delivery, combined with modern software frameworks and cloud technologies, has been essential part of strategy and provides continued success.

The technological experience needed for this role consists of Python, Flask, Celery, Postgres, Angular 11, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Google Cloud Platform. A successful candidate should have 2 years minimum python development experience in a commercial setting. They should have experience designing and implementing REST API's in Python, Flask experience, fluent in Git and experience with end to end Docker based workflow. They must have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and delivery.

The role consists of working within a team that is divided into small cross-functional product teams, and team size & membership is reviewed collaboratively each quarter and adjusted if necessary based on business needs and individual team member's personal development goals. Backend developers stay in sync via regular ad-hoc catch ups, scheduled catch-ups and can attend other product teams' standups as they wish. The whole digital team catches up at 9am daily to share announcements and weekly sessions are run so team members can demo their work. This business has a no-blame culture based on communication, trust, mutual respect and enjoyment.
