Enterprise Information Architect (SQL, NoSQL, BI, data modelling, TOGAF, Microsoft Azure, data virtualization technologies)
My client provides mission critical command and control software to the emergency services. This role has emerged to shape the information design, integration and delivery of my clients next generation enterprise scale public safety products and services. The core of what my client do is provide system products that literally save lives.

About the role
Whilst acting as Enterprise Information Architect (SQL, NoSQL, BI, data modelling, TOGAF, Microsoft Azure, data virtualization technologies) you will enable a consistent user experience in a variety of digital technology solutions by connecting the dots across structured data elements and unstructured content meaning.

Over time and across projects you will break and eliminate data silos, make it easier for users to access information within their context, and continuously foster a solid data & information foundation for digitally enabled business operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Broad understanding of data management capabilities (data architecture, modelling & design, reference & master data management, metadata management and business intelligence/data science)
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Translate business language into technical information and vice versa
  • Ability to understand complex business data
  • Experience of working in agile environment
  • Proficient in data management concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of data governance, modelling techniques
  • Solid understanding and practical experience of real-world data modelling
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies
  • Working knowledge of modern software development approaches
  • Knowledge of data virtualization technologies



It would also be ideal if you had a masters' degree or equivalent in Information Management, Information Technology, or another business or scientific field, in combination with relevant practical experience in Information Management.
