As Technology continues to advance towards a Product Centric Delivery approach, our customer is effectively executing a wide-ranging delivery transformation program throughout their organization.

The role of the Delivery Manager is crucial in actively participating in this program, utilizing practical expertise to refine, implement, and integrate Agile processes. Additionally, they must engage with our customer's business colleagues to define the business value associated with their deliveries.

Our client is migrating all infrastructure, applications and systems from on premise data centres to modern cloud technologies.

We are seeking to hire a delivery manager with specific expertise in cloud migrations in a complex technical environment. Our target end state is AWS for our Linux, Wintel Server and Oracle real estate and Microsoft Azure for our o365 / SharePoint based infrastructure and applications

Primary responsibilities and duties encompass:

• Ensure that product deliveries consistently meet key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with agreed project/product targets and overall organizational KPIs.
• Monitor and oversee activities, providing regular reports for both technology and product teams.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to establish and execute successful plans.
• Effectively manage internal communication, ensuring that all relevant internal stakeholders are informed and appropriately consulted throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Implement best practices for reporting (both internal and external) and communication, utilizing recommended tools for these purposes.
• Manage delivery in accordance with industry standards and our customer's Delivery Management procedures and practices, encompassing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies where applicable.
• Assume responsibility for delivery risk and issue management, including the identification and implementation of appropriate actions to mitigate risks and address issues.

The successful technical delivery manager should have the below skills and experience:

• Technical background
• Have experience with migrations of systems to cloud - and other e.g. rollout to windows 10
  Infrastructure, data migrations, hardware decommissioning, working with EIR on telcom upgrades etc.
• Worked on software projects and have experience across full SDLC
  Waterfall and Agile project experience
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Delivery Management.
• Proficient in collaborating with Agile and DevOps teams.
• Skilled in working with third-party suppliers to deliver business or IT change initiatives, including experience with both remote and co-located teams and vendors.
• Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office suite, as well as Jira and the Atlassian Suite of tools.
• Demonstrated effectiveness as a Delivery Manager, with a proven ability to influence, motivate, and support high-performing Product Teams.
• Proficient in working with offshore teams to ensure alignment with delivery plans and commitments.
