Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy new solutions to meet the firm's technology goals.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain system hardware and software.
  • Support the firm's virtualization infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and security.
  • Manage Active Directory, AWS, and Microsoft Azure, collaborating with network and security teams.
  • Provide pro-active system monitoring and Operating System (OS) patching.
  • Support Windows Server, RedHat Linux, and other server environments.
  • Ensure systems achieve high availability in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Analyze, plan, test, and document implementations of new hardware and software systems.
  • Act as a resource for technical projects and create comprehensive documentation.
  • Utilize tools like PowerShell, VB Script, and batch files for system configuration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5-7 years) in system administration and deployment.
  • Senior-level experience (5 years) in systems integration engineering for large-scale global environments.
  • Familiarity with change management/control processes and procedures.
  • Proven experience in documenting system requirements and design.
  • Knowledge of Windows Clustering technologies and enterprise storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise compute systems like Cisco UCS.
  • Independent, self-starting, and deadline-driven mindset.
  • Experience in implementing large-scale enterprise IT projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
