Software Application Support Engineer - Munster - €60,000.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Full ownership to allocated new integration projects with customers across EU in collaboration with the EU Support team & R&D
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers for any technical questions/issues regarding software integration and testing
  • Testing of new software versions (both proprietary machine software and OS)
  • Coordinate & support roll out of new software releases to the field
  • Translate customer requests to R&D sprints as appropriate
  • Perform analysis and problem solving via telephone and / or remote support in collaboration with the EU Support team
  • Support the setup of pilot tests/initiatives across EU
  • Gather feedback direct from customers for future improvements/enhancements to our devices
  • Stay up to date with new product developments to ensure we always deliver the highest level of service possible

 

Your Profile:

  • Technical qualification / background from automation or software systems
  • 1-3 years' experience in a software related technical support role
  • Background in customer service/support, ideally with both onsite & remote experience
  • Flexible and willing to travel and work on European projects
  • Some programming experience with capabilities to write test scripts
  • Experienced in using scripting languages (e.g. Bash shell, Python etc.)
  • Previous work with Linux systems and command line experience is a must.
  • Clear in communication, focused and patient
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
