We are currently seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead enterprise-level customers on their Cloud journey. This is an exciting opportunity within our Technology Solutions team as we embark on a growth-driven mission to enhance customer outcomes.
As a Solutions Architect with a primary focus on Cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS), you will directly engage with C-level customers to help define and shape their requirements. This position falls under our Professional Services Solution Architecture team and involves the creation of end-to-end solutions while maintaining governance over the design in collaboration with our delivery partners.
The Senior Solution Architect role demands a breadth of technical expertise to guide the customer's technology strategy effectively. It encompasses the following skills and experience:
- Technical Leadership: Proficiency in leading technical initiatives.
- Program Management: Demonstrated experience in successfully managing multiple complex programs concurrently.
- Solution Design: Proven experience in Solution Architecture, with a minimum of 8 years in this role.
- Industry Certifications: Holds relevant industry certifications, demonstrating expertise through experience.
- Business Acumen: The ability to comprehend business challenges, applying technology solutions to address them.
- Accountability: Full accountability for technical solutions.
- Stress Management: Capability to perform at a high standard in sustained high-pressure environments.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation.
- Technical Artifacts: Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical documentation.
- Enterprise Architecture: Knowledgeable in Enterprise Architecture, including frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Roadmapping: Demonstrated experience in defining, documenting, communicating, and driving technical roadmaps.
- Technology Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure and technology, with a specific focus on Microsoft (M365/Exchange/Azure/AD), Cloud, Citrix, and Cyber Security.
- Market Awareness: Excellent awareness of technology market trends, with the ability to apply insights to meet business needs.
- Team Leadership: Ability to manage and lead technical delivery teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with effective communication at CxO level.
- Governance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and understanding of governance practices.
- Growth Mindset: Possesses a growth mindset and a can-do attitude, adaptable to dynamic environments.
It's crucial to emphasize that this role is not focused on Business as Usual (BAU) tasks. Rather, it requires an infrastructure-focused skill set (not software or network). Key aspects of this role include:
- Azure: Certification in Azure is advantageous, with minimal use of AWS.
- Growth and Progression: A critical mindset for this role. Candidates don't necessarily need the same job title but must demonstrate the required skills.
- Programme Allocation: You will be assigned to a Programme Manager.
- Project Leadership: While not leading a team of individuals, you will be the lead within a project, managing technical resources and adhering to best practices.
