Senior Rust Developer.

Senior Rust Developer | Remote in Europe | 3-4 stage process | €90-€120k per annum

I am looking for a talented Senior Rust Developer for a growing IT Consultancy. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying critical systems using Rust. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure that our code is efficient, maintainable, and secure.

This role can be done remotely in Europe, it is a 3-4 stage interview process, English speaking and they can offer a salary of €90,000-€120,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable applications using Rust
• Optimise code for performance and memory usage
• Collaborate with other developers on code reviews and technical discussions
• Identify and implement best practices for Rust development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Rust ecosystem

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience developing software in Rust
• Deep understanding of Rust's ownership system and borrow checker
• Experience with common Rust libraries and frameworks (e.g., tokio, async-std)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in an Agile development environment (a plus)
• Full working proficiency in English

Bonus points:

• Experience with embedded systems development
• Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Cryptography & infosec knowledge
