QA Engineer.

Currently recruiting for 2 Quality Assurance Engineers (QA Engineers) who will work inside the engineering teams on the Payment Gateway application development and integration with other systems in the bank. Payment gateway provides industry leading solution for mobile and swift payments and integrates with an FX and core banking system.

Day to day you will:

• Develop the QA scope for designated projects based on the QA strategy and actively participate in delivering the QA tasks.
• Conduct automated and manual testing throughout the system and system integration testing phases and support UAT activities as required.
• Collaborate with the product team to gain insights into deliverables and features and evaluate the testability of stories.
• Comprehend the overall QA strategy and contribute to enhancing QA standards.
• Take responsibility for the QA responsibilities for assigned projects.

Requirements:

You must have:

• Experience conducting both manual and automated testing for APIs
• Strong background in Financial Services, with expertise in FX and Payments
• Proficient in SQL usage
• Knowledgeable in Agile delivery practices, including testing frequent releases in test and production environments.
• Experience using Cucumber or other Behavior Driven Development tools.
• Skilled in using modern task management tools like JIRA and Asana
• Experience testing applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Capable of generating reports on QA results and producing test outcome reports.

Ideally you are also:

• Able to demonstrate proficiency in Specification by Example methodologies
• Expertise in automated API testing with tools like Postman or similar platforms, bringing valuable insights and knowledge to the team
• Proven track record of performing and managing security and performance testing activities
• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the delivery process
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
• Ability to work closely with developers to create and enhance QA automation frameworks
