Platform Engineer- Observability- London/Hybrid- up to £100k

Our client a leading financial services client that focuses predominantly on commodities and the forex market are looking for a Platform Engineer who focuses in the Observability area to join an expanding team.

This role sits within their retail division and is working on their next generation Observability platform

Tech Stack:

• DevOps
• CI/CD
• Observability tech such as InfluxDB, Jaeger, Prometheus, ELK
• Programming languages like Python, to create production-grade API's and integrations
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, Helm
• Experience with automation frameworks like Ansible
• Kafka
• Linux

Responsibilities:

• Perform pilot implementations of services
• Work with other teams on Observability
• Implement production ready enterprise grade services for Observability
• Perform ahead of time capacity planning
• Production support for observability services

This role would be hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days a week in the clients London office
