Platform Engineer.

My client, a leading construction consultancy which provides construction programme management, cost management and advisory services for major corporations and public sector clients around the world are looking for an ambitious Platform Engineer to join their team in London or on a remote basis.

They are looking for someone to join the Digital Team as a Platform Engineer. Working alongside two other experienced DevOps/Platform Engineers and 12 web application developers, you'll get the opportunity to develop your skills and experience of the latest cloud technologies and automation & security tools.

Actively sharing the knowledge you acquire of their CI/CD pipelines and platform with application developers to help them quickly diagnose pipeline issues and understand how their applications perform in production.

They are looking ideally for the following, flexibility will be show as they are a tech agnostic business.

• You'll have experience of building production-grade web applications or services using modern technologies and frameworks (eg: Python/Flask, NodeJS, Angular)
• Git
• You'll have experience of deploying application code via CI\CD pipelines
• You'll be able to demonstrate your experience of writing tests (unit/integration/e2e)
• You might also have experience or knowledge of Docker-based development and deployment workflows, deploying cloud infrastructure (eg: GCP/AWS), Linux systems administration, and Terraform/Kubernetes/Helm
