I am partnered with a client who is currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior Machine Learning Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and deploying machine learning models to solve complex business challenges. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to bring innovative solutions to life.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for machine learning models.
• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models using various algorithms and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Perform data cleaning, pre-processing, and feature engineering to prepare data for model training.
• Implement and integrate machine learning models into production systems using best practices for scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, identifying opportunities for improvement and retraining.
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning.
• Document your work clearly and concisely for future reference and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in software development with a focus on machine learning.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts including supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python programming with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data analysis and manipulation tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for machine learning and a desire to learn and grow.

Bonus Points

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying machine learning models.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with a specific industry or domain relevant to our company.
• Open-source contributions to machine learning projects.
