Seeking an ITSM Architect (IT Service Management) for a Leading UK-based Organization - HYBRID - 2 days a week on site

We are currently in search of an experienced IT Service Management Architect for a permanent role with our client, a prominent UK-based organization functioning as a central communications service provider.


Responsibilities of the ITSM Architect:

  • Serve as the point of contact for all architecture aspects of an IT and Operational Improvement/transformation Project.
  • Address and integrate the Business Process, Data, and Application within the framework of large state-backed ITSM Solutions/Products.
  • Ensure project solution architecture is documented using templates, standard tooling, and conforms to standards.
  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture, providing technical leadership to other domain architects (applications, data, infrastructure, security, service) to ensure overall cohesion.
  • Coordinate a large team of third-party qualified architects to achieve the requested throughput of deliverables and products.
  • Take ownership of key program technical design artifacts, including Conceptual Architecture, Logical Architecture, High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, and Interface Specifications.
  • Hold responsibility for all Architecture/technical content within the Program Design Authority.
  • Collaborate with the Program's leadership and Functional Leads to engage with senior stakeholders, present and discuss the solution and design, and take the lead on addressing challenges raised.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in leading design activities for complex, multi-technology, multi-party solutions, especially ITSM.
  • Experience in multiple architectural domains, preferably applications, cloud, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to see and articulate the bigger picture, while also delving into the detail when necessary to get the job done, with an understanding of key technology risks.
  • Experienced in applying architectural tools and methods.
  • Experience of working well in a client-facing (or similar) environment.
  • Experience of operating and delivering business solutions within a regulatory context.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
