Are you passionate about ensuring top-tier security services? We are in search of an IT Security Specialist to play a key role in delivering security services for our client and its valued customers.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake diverse duties in threat detection, vulnerability identification, risk management, incident/request management, and control monitoring.
• Monitor, report, and advise on security matters, providing technical expertise for secure networks/configurations and best practices.
• Formulate rules based on best practices, explaining them to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utilize data from vulnerability management tools and XDR solutions to initiate actions based on risk.

Key Skills:

• Strong organizational skills to manage independent testing, including coordinating remediation actions and reporting.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills to communicate actions, reasons, and status effectively.
• Respond to security incidents by investigating, responding, and reporting on events/incidents.

Requirements:

• Fully remote role with occasional site visits (once a month/quarter); candidates should reside in the southwest.
• Up to £35,000 per annum.
