My client, a recognisable financial services organisation are looking for an experinaced IT Director (Leadership, AWS, AZURE, Infrastructure) to join a newly formed team on a hybrid basis.

The newly formed Technology & Cloud Infrastructure team is now looking for a seasoned leader who has a background working in complex enterprise financial services organisations. The IT Director (Leadership, AWS, AZURE, Infrastructure) will report directly to the CIO who is currently running a multimillion pound programme to change their current operating model. The IT Director (Leadership, AWS, AZURE, Infrastructure) will be the vocal point of the function and play a pivotal role in driving cloud and infrastructure change so that the business stays at the top of the pile, beating their competitors.

This is a huge role and the successful IT Director (Leadership, AWS, AZURE, Infrastructure) will be looking after a team of over 200 who are responsible for all areas of tech and infrastructure, focusing on databases, middleware, compute, networks, cloud and much more

The ideal candidate will need to have the following to be successful in this role

• Leading large teams across complex technology transformation in a multi cloud environment
• Excellent understanding of Infrastructure, Cloud and the Infrastructure landscape
• Ideally coming from a financial services background
