IT Delivery Project Manager (Agile, Waterfall, Technical Delivery)
My client who are a leading pharmaceutical and services expert are looking to hire a proactive and confident IT Delivery Project Manager (Agile, Waterfall, Technical Delivery) to be part of a global digital transformation programme of work.
The IT Delivery Project Manager (Agile, Waterfall, Technical Delivery) will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of large-scale IT projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.
The IT Delivery Project Manager (Agile, Waterfall, Technical Delivery) will take accountability for the successful delivery of projects, by leading and driving the project delivery.
Responsibilities for the IT Delivery Project Manager (Agile, Waterfall, Technical Delivery):
- Establishing and maintaining effective project controls
- Organising and directing the project team
- Effectively engaging the business, subcontractors, third parties and project stakeholders throughout the duration of the project to budget
- Maintaining a clear understanding of, and regularly reporting, project progress, plans, dependencies, risk, and status clearly and accurately, escalating appropriately through the IT Delivery management chain when necessary
Requirements for the IT Delivery Project Manager (Agile, Waterfall, Technical Delivery):
- Extensive experience in IT Service and Delivery Roles, including experience in 24/7 high-availability multi-site enterprise ERP environment, including application hosting, voice and data networks, security, and information protection.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft stacks.
- Working knowledge of and accreditation to recognised industry qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, 'Agile' project management, SCRUM, APM etc.).
- Knowledge and experience of working within a DevOps / Continuous Delivery framework through the Software Development Lifecycle
- Understanding and practical experience in application of IT testing lifecycle management
- Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption.
- Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security
- Builds effective working relationships with colleagues and business partners
- Experience of working in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated markets
- Ability to understand and interpret requirements from Business Systems
- Experience in developing training materials and in training end users
- Awareness of the scope, principles and approaches that underpin effective business analysis
