Help Desk - Lead IT Engineer.

Must Have studied at a Russell Group University or Equivalent

My Client is are a UK Alternative Investment Fund Manager authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) since September 2015. They have over 200 employees between our London, New York, Washington DC, Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership for a small team of support engineers based in London and New York
• Hands on support for our growing office circa 220 users (and growing)
• Dealing with a wide range of issues from single desktop to complex back-ended infrastructure problems and projects
• Working with other members of the IT team to continuously improve the infrastructure
• Occasional travel to various sites in London and abroad Interview process
• Pre-Screening / CV Review
• Interview with Head of Infrastructure, aptitude assessment, and technical testing
• Interviews with Systems Engineer and the wider business
• Interviews with Senior Management and HR
• Reference checks
• Participation in a rota schedule where some out of hours and weekend work will be required

• A strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree from a Russell Group University and A levels at grade A*/A/B - or international equivalents - are strongly preferred)
