Head of Software Product.

I am working with a client who are currently based in Hertfordshire who near the end of 2021 are moving to an bigger location in Watford. I need a Head of Software Product to come in and own their product process, someone who has a strong technical ability and experience across wireframing and designing user stories would be a huge bonus. This is a fairly urgent hire and interviews are happening next week!

The Client:

They are a specialist finance company with multiple offerings which include a range of lending solutions:

• Homeowners
• Property investors
• Developers
• Landlords

This is a fairly low level overview of the client and what their offerings are

The Role:

• You will be join the IT management team and own the internally developed software and their third party offering for their clients
• As Head of Product you will be looking at creating a detailed vision and executing that vision
• This role is 'Hands on' and you will be expected to product user stories
• Collaborating with the Head of Dev and Head of Testing to ensure the product life cycle is efficient and working as expected

Responsibility:

• Product a clear vision for their internal product
• Design and deliver high quality user experience
• Creating a clear product roadmap
• Managing product time lines and that they are met
• Collaborating with the wider Dev and Testing teams
• Ownership of the change pipeline

Of course I have more information around the company and what they can expect from their new Head of Product. I am after someone that is eager to make a difference, be very hands on within the company and is happy to take ownership of their products and make a difference in the industry.

As a reminder they are offering £75,000-£80,000 per annum and are looking at starting interviews as soon as possible.
