My client, a globally recognized Asset Management business are looking to connect with Data Platform Engineer (Python, Databricks, Azure, CI/CD) to join their team in London. The team is coming in 2 days a week with some flexibility shown, so if you are looking for a fully remote role, this one isn't for you.
As a business they have a huge presence across the FX markets with over 330 thousand clients across the globe, so this is a great opportunity to work on international projects with huge scalability.
The Data Platform Engineer (Python, Databricks, Azure, CI/CD) will mainly be responsible for designing implementing new features for their Databricks platform in an Azure cloud environment. The Data Platform Engineer (Python, Databricks, Azure, CI/CD) will also need to have a good background in platform engineering and also worked in a DevOps environment with a good understanding of CI/CD principles.
The Data Platform Engineer (Python, Databricks, Azure, CI/CD) will also have a mixture of responsibilities from managing storage access, managing clusters, troubleshooting, SQL, scripting and also automation wherever possible using tools such as ansible.
