Application support Analyst - Fully Remote - up to £38K
We are currently in search of an experienced Power Application support Analyst for a permanent role with our client, a prominent UK-based organization functioning as a central communications service provider.
Role Overview:
Supporting bespoke applications within service desk team. You will have a creative mind set to translate the customers' incidents into a viable solution with problem solving and analytical skills.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting external clients, escalating issues as necessary.
- Looking after customer Incidents to ensure timely and effective solutions are provided.
- investigating reported Incidents/Defects through fact gathering and remote support.
- First line of defence in finding the cause of an issue
- Working vert closely with Business Analysts, Knowledge Specialists and Technical personnel to identify workarounds, solutions and opportunities for knowledge creation.
- To ensure that service level agreements are met and that both internal / external customers receive a timely response to their requests.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with Capita One Systems working with Housing Benefits
- Excellent communication skills, being able to convey complex and difficult issues both verbally and in writing to customers with varying levels of technical expertise
- Excellent analytical, process-oriented, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Application Support / Software Support experience
- Understanding of databases such as SQL, Progress
- Works effectively within a team.
