Power Platform Solutions Developer - Enterprise IT Team - Leading UK-based Organization - HYBRID - 2 days a week on site

We are currently in search of an experienced Power Platform Solutions Developer for a permanent role with our client, a prominent UK-based organization functioning as a central communications service provider.

Role Overview:
The Power Platform Solutions Developer designs and develops automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools for the organization.

Responsibilities:
Process Automation and Reporting

Implement auditable automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, etc.) to replace legacy processes.

Company Data Protection

Design and implement disaster recovery and contingency plans to safeguard company data.

Policies and Procedures Development

Draft policies, procedures, and related guidelines to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.

Business Requirements Identification

Gather complex business requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.

Faults Diagnosis and Correction

Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges to address issues promptly.

Technical Developments Recommendation

Recommend complex or innovative technical developments to enhance the quality of the organization's website, portal, application software, and supporting infrastructure.

Operational Compliance

Monitor and review performance and behaviors within the area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulatory codes.

Personal Capability Building

Serve as a subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and stay updated on current and emerging external regulations and industry best practices through continuing professional development.

Experience we are looking for in the Power Platform Solutions Developer :

• Work as part of a small data team, acting as the frontend, reporting, and dashboarding expert.
• Impart knowledge of cloud-based reporting to influence and further develop the platform.
• Key projects include implementing Power Apps across various business functions, replacing old Excel data entry processes or paper-based flows.

Essential experience required:

• Proven commercial experience delivering Power Platform solutions in Power Apps, Power Automate/MS Flow, etc.
• Strong SQL querying skills (preferably MS SQL).
• Proficiency in Power BI, with experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting various reports and dashboards.
• Solid DAX querying skills.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Azure DevOps (knowledge useful).
