My client, a SaaS insurance tech business are looking to expand their team by adding an experienced Automation Test Engineer (API, Automation, Testing) on a fully remote basis.

As the Automation Test Engineer (API, Automation, Testing) you will join their integration team to help implement their new product to 3000 car dealerships across the UK. The product is used by car dealers to help sell insurance after a car has been purchased.

The integrations team is an agile team, consisting of backend developers, BA's and Automation Engineers focusing on WEB, Backend and API's

Responsibilities for the Automation Test Engineer (API, Automation, Testing)

• work closely with software developers to reach a common understanding of the code base and test coverage at different levels
• working with developers to address the outcome of regression test reports
• collaborate with analysts to make sure the required business scenarios are covered in the acceptance test scripts
• being proficient in at least one scripting language
• writing and maintaining automated tests across our applications
