Business Analyst - 90% home working - Digital Transformation - 1 year FTC

My client, a leading education tech business are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (Software Development, Stakeholder Management, Agile) to join their team on a remote basis.

They are looking for a Business Analyst (Software Development, Stakeholder Management, Agile) with experience in website development, ideally also with virtual learning platforms but someone who really understands how the SDLC works.

Their role will be to work across one or two projects, taking the feature roadmap from the Product Manager and generating a backlog of user stories for the developers to work against.

Responsibilities and skill set required for the Business Analyst (Software Development, Stakeholder Management, Agile)

  • Ability to map as-is processes within operational and workshop environments
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and design to-be processes aligned with strategic goals and with user needs in mind
  • Can elicit, analyse and manage requirements
  • Can analyse data and present complex problems back in a clear way
  • Able to create solution documentation
  • Able to define an approach to differing client and project needs
  • Fully experienced in software lifecycle experience (Define through to Delivery), must have worked on projects developing a technical solution.
  • Experience of Agile.
  • Knowledge of IT at least key terms and general understanding.
  • Workshop and facilitation skills, ideally experience of doing this remotely (using tools such as Teams, Miro etc).
